Aftershock are a brand new four piece outfit covering some of the biggest and the best rock and pop hits of the 80’s & 90’s through to now. The members hail from some well known cover bands in the Perth and Melbourne scene and have performed at countless numbers of venues and crowds and know what just what it takes when it comes to playing live and keeping the punters excited and the beverages aflowin’.
The members came together in February 2011 eager to show Perth’s best venues their special variety of the most popular tunes that keep their audiences entertained on the dance floor all night and always leave them wanting more.
Aftershock are:
Krystal – Lead Vocals, (ex Intake)
Krystal is an outstanding vocalist who thrives on live performance. She is an experienced singer recently having performed regularly in Perth for a number of years with former cover act “Intake”. Krystal delivers an exciting and powerful performance everytime.
Alex – Lead Guitar, back up vocals (ex Sprtizer,undercover,Less than Zero.)
Alex is an experienced lead guitarist having played in a Perth cover bands such as Undercover and Spritzer. He was 1st place prize winner performing live on air on Perth Radio Station PMFM 92.9 Bon Jovi Solo Guitar competition early in his playing career, winning a meet and greet with Bon Jovi Guitarist Richie Sambora.
Kash – Bass Guitar, back up vocals (ex Karissma)
Kash is a talented top class bass player and multi-musician with strong vocal harmony ability. Hailing originally from Mauritius he played in the Melbourne cover band scene for a number of years with one of the top acts “Karissma”.
John – Drums, back up vocals
John is originally from Sydney and is a no nonsense rock drummer that has played drums in Perth cover bands across the metro area and regional venues since 2001. He’s played a wide range of music from classic rock to top 40 hits in bands such as Less than Zero and also with Dakota.
