Josh Abenoj considers his talent to be a “God–given gift”. An accomplished singer, pianist and guitarist even before becoming a professional entertainer, he was a grand final winner in a Sing-alike contest back in his home country, imitating such artists as The Bee Gees, James Taylor, The Stylistics, Elvis, The Beatles, Nat King Cole, Johnny Mathis, and Earth Wind and Fire to reach the grand final and eventually become the champion. In 2010, while working in Dubai as a Civil Engineer, his music hobby earned him the Acoustic Performer Award from a local FM radio station’s contest with his soulful acoustic versions of famous American and British songs. Josh is also a writer/composer and arranger of his own original songs.
